Copper sleeve material selection and main performance

Material recommendation (the following is the company's commonly used material production)

1. ZCuSn6Zn6Pb3, ZCuSn5Zn5Pb5, can be used to manufacture bushings, gears, worm gears and other wear-resistant parts that work under moderate loads and speeds.

2. ZCuSn10P1 is a typical tin phosphor bronze with high hardness and wear resistance. It can be used to manufacture parts that work under heavy load, high speed and high temperature, and are subject to strong friction, such as connecting rod bushings, gears, worm gears, etc.

3. ZCuAl9Mn2, ZCuAl9Fe4, aluminum bronze has high strength, high density and stable chemical properties. Commonly used in valve bodies, worm gears, nuts, pipe fittings, etc.

4. ZCuZn25Al6Fe3Mn3 high-strength aluminum brass, with the highest strength among special brass. It has high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance, moderate plasticity and good corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is used to cast high-load wear-resistant weight on heavy machinery.

5. ZCuSn10P1 has high hardness, excellent wear resistance, is not easy to cause seizure, has good casting performance and cutting performance, and has good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and fresh water. It can be used for wear-resistant parts that work under high load (below 20Mpa) and high sliding speed (8m/s), such as connecting rods, bushings, bearing bushes, gears, worm gears, etc.

6. ZCuSn10Pb5 is corrosion-resistant, especially for dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and fatty acid. Structural materials, corrosion-resistant and acid-resistant accessories, as well as crusher bushings and bearing bushes.

7. ZCuPb10Sn10 has good lubricating properties, good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for bimetal casting materials. Vehicle bearings, internal combustion engine bimetallic bearing bushes with a peak load of 100Mpa, as well as piston pin sleeves, friction plates, etc.

8. ZCuPb15Sn8 has good sliding and self-lubricating properties, easy cutting, poor casting properties, and good corrosion resistance to dilute sulfuric acid in the absence of lubricants and water-based lubricants. Bearings with high surface pressure and lateral pressure can be used to manufacture copper cooling pipes of cold rolling mills, parts with impact load up to 50Mpa, bimetal bearing bushes of internal combustion engines, mainly used for piston pin sleeves with a maximum load of 70Mpa, acid-resistant accessories .

9. ZCuZn38Mn2Pb2 has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, good wear resistance and good cutting performance. Structural parts for general purposes, simple-shaped castings used in ships, instruments, etc., such as sleeves, bushings, bearing bushes, sliders, etc.

The main casting method of our company for casting the copper sleeve of the stern shaft is centrifugal casting. Bronze centrifugal casting refers to the casting method of pouring the copper liquid into the high-speed rotating casting centrifuge to make it solidify and form under the action of centrifugal force.

Casting Process

1. Heat treatment: annealing, carbonization, tempering, quenching, normalizing, surface tempering

2. Processing equipment: CNC, WEDM, lathe, milling machine, drilling machine, grinder, etc.;

3. Surface treatment: powder spraying, chrome plating, painting, sandblasting, nickel plating, galvanizing, blackening, polishing, bluing, etc.



Moulds and Inspection Fixtures

1. Mold service life: usually semi-permanent. (except for lost foam)

2. Mold delivery time: 10-25 days, (according to product structure and product size).

3. Tooling and mold maintenance: Zhongwei is responsible for precision parts.


Quality Control

1. Quality control: the defective rate is less than 0.1%.

2. Samples and trial run will be 100% inspected during production and before shipment, sample inspection for mass production according to ISDO standards or customer requirements.
